Interviews were probably what folks remember most about Threatening Society fanzine. We started out with mailing questions to bands in hopes they would send back responses (using the "soaped stamps" we included) -- evolving to recorded conversations, enabling us to "drill deeper" on specific areas. Some of the questions we posed are indeed cringe-worthy ("Are you straight edge?") but often the bands rolled with it and gave us poignant or hilarious responses.
